Maintaining your exhaust fans

 

If you have exhaust fans, please consult the exhaust fan manufacturer's instructions as to their care and maintenance.

This will usually include keeping the blades clean and possibly oiling the bearings.

Dirt and grease can accumulate on the blades and can cause them to become unbalanced and possibly wear the bearings out. If enough dirt accumulates it can stall the rotation of the blades and burn up the motor.
