Maintaining the frame

Your home's frame is steel that has probably been painted to protect it from rust and corrosion.

If you find any areas that have been scratched or damaged, and may become exposed to corrosion, you will need to touch them up.

Touchups can be done with a good quality zinc chromate, asphaltic base or other paint that will provide equivalent protection.
