Maintaining your
manufactured home

Once you have "Realized your Dream" and bought a manufactured home, it will be up to you to keep it in good condition. Not only will this make the home more comfortable to live in but will also help it retain its resale value if you bought it as an investment.

When you first buy your home and are assured it has been installed properly, you should read the Owner's Manual that is provided by the Manufacturer. You need to know what your responsibilities are as the homeowner. You are expected to provide periodic maintenance, including some minor repairs when needed. Larger repairs, or those you do not feel capable of performing yourself, should be accomplished by professionals. Repairs not covered by warranty are your responsibility.
