Where can I find manufactured or modular
home parts and accessories?

If you need parts, awnings, doors, windows, fixtures or other accessories for a manufactured home, the first thing to do is check the yellow pages, preferably of the nearest large city. Look under "Mobile Home Supplies," "Mobile Home Parts," "Mobile Home Contractors," "Modular Home Parts,"etc. (In many parts of the country you may need to exchange the term "Manufactured Home" for "Mobile Home").

It is always a good idea to check with the Chamber of Commerce. Also, if you are having a hard time finding these items, check with your state Manufactured Home Association. A list is provided elsewhere on this site. With the internet, it is possible to find some of these things in a reasonably local area now. Use the same search criteria as you would with the yellow pages.
