Slabs and Manufactured Homes
Although a full slab or pad has a larger area of concrete it is usually
cheaper and better than the runners or footers mentioned on the other two pages. The reason for this is that it takes less work
to build the form since there is just one large one as opposed to many smaller ones. It is also easier to level
the entire slab and provides a better barrier to vermin. This would be our recommended type of
foundation.
All foundations must meet your local building codes.
