Maintaining your windows

The glass, frames, tracks and operating mechanisms of your windows should be checked frequently and kept clean.

Windows can be lubricated with a silicon or a graphite type lubricant. Windows that stick may be a sign that your home is not level and you may need to check this.

Window leaks can often be fixed by applying caulking or sealer which you can usually find at most hardware stores.
